Common questions

Don’t see yours? Call (250) 575-6015 and we’ll talk it through.

Can you balance the dirt on site?

When the grades allow it, yes, and it saves trucking in both directions. When the site can’t absorb the cut we haul off, and when it’s short we bring in clean fill.

What’s the difference between rough and finish grade?

Rough grade shapes the site for construction. Finish grade is the last pass that sets final contours and drainage before landscaping. They’re separate visits for a reason: construction wrecks finish work.

Do you compact fill?

Any fill that will carry anything, yes, in lifts. Loose fill settles for years.
