What’s involved

Clearing goes wrong when it’s treated as demolition. Done right it’s selective: take out the brush, stumps, and debris that are in the way, protect what stays, and leave grades that drain instead of a churned-up mess.

We clear building sites, fence lines, view corridors, and overgrown acreage, and we haul what comes out. In the Okanagan that increasingly includes thinning fuel around homes where the bush meets the backyard.

Do I need a permit to clear my lot?

Sometimes. Tree protection bylaws, riparian areas near creeks and lakeshore, and steep slopes can all trigger permits, and the rules differ by municipality. Check before you cut; it’s an expensive mistake to make in reverse.

What happens to the debris?

Hauled away, unless you want material kept on site. Stumps and brush go out; clean soil can stay and go into the grade.

Can you clear around trees we’re keeping?

Yes. Mark what stays and we work around root zones rather than through them.
